Republicans seek to have House Speaker Nancy Pelosi declared mentally insane

The election fighting among politicians in America is reaching new heights. Last week, 81-year-old Congressional House Speaker, Nancy Pelosi, began publicly threatening to get U.S. President Donald Trump thrown out of office.

Pelosi made the threat and formed a committee to explore using the 25th Amendment to get 74-year-old Trump tossed from office. The 25th Amendment specifically refers to the grounds which grant the removal of a U.S. president from office.

Pelosi stated Trump is unstable and used his hospitalization with coronavirus and one of the medications he was administered (the steroid Dexamethasone), as the foundation for her claim. Democrats cited the president calling off stimulus talks until after the election as an example of said instability.

Not to be outdone, Republicans have now announced their own plans on the president's behalf, to get liquor loving Pelosi tossed out of office. Republicans are labeling Pelosi a nutcase. The Republicans are stating Pelosi, who has been stating strange and incoherent things in widely published interviews, is mentally unfit. House Republican, Doug Collins, has introduced a resolution to that effect.

Republicans cited Pelosi's "unwillingness to abide by the Constitution", "baseless and fruitless investigations", her failed impeachment bid that did not remove Trump and visiting "a shuttered hair salon in San Francisco where she received a blow-out without wearing a mask in violation of San Francisco’s laws concerning the coronavirus."

However, in all fairness to liquor loving Pelosi, as many pointed out on Twitter, she thought the sign said "saloon" not "salon" (LOL). President Trump doesn't care and simply bought a deeper shade of bronzer for his balcony appearance, as in some circles it is believed a deep tan symbolizes good health. The president is now darker than most rappers (LOL).

House Republican Introduces Resolution Calling For Pelosi’s Removal Due To ‘Mental Fitness’

Posted at 6:00 pm on October 14, 2020 by Jeff Charles - Well, this is a fun one. A House Republican introduced a resolution calling for the removal of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) due to her lack of “mental fitness.”

Rep. Doug Collins (R-GA) introduced the measure on Monday. The day before, he took to Twitter to announce his reasons for doing so. “It’s clear that Nancy Pelosi does not have the mental fitness to serve as Speaker of the House of Representatives,” he wrote. “I’m introducing a resolution to push for her removal.”

He continued, asserting that “Nancy Pelosi’s unwillingness to abide by the Constitution, combined with her recent actions, call into question her own mental fitness. It’s critical that the House of Representatives demand her removal from the line of succession.” Pelosi, 81, is third in the line of succession for the presidency should the president and vice president die...

While this story is rather hilarious, there is absolutely no chance that House Republicans will be able to unseat Nancy Pelosi by questioning her mental acuity. The fact that the Democratic presidential nominee is leading in the polls despite not being able to chain more than two sentences together without getting confused shows that Pelosi isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. Perhaps this is all the more reason for the GOP to ensure that they do not lose both chambers of Congress.
