Beyonce

Beyonce headlined the Coachella music festival in California this past weekend. Beyonce's fans, know as the Beyhive and "stans" (after the Eminem rap song about a mentally insane fan who behaves in an irrational, alarming manner) started posting about it on social networking. It trended on Twitter, as they claimed she is a better recording artist and performer than the late Michael Jackson.

This prompted a huge number of comments slamming Beyonce's fans for making such statements. Historical chart data, music sales and concert touring revenue indicates Michael Jackson is the top recording artist of all time. He is also a better dancer and singer than Beyonce, who constantly yells while singing, under the misguided notion the loudest is the best.

Jackson's music career achievement are staggering. No one has matched that. I have never seen people react to a music star the way they did Jackson. The amount of genuinely big hits he had and massive sales numbers during his career is unmatched. Next would be the Beatles, Elvis, Bob Marley and The Eagles, who are all way ahead of Beyonce, who is not in any of their leagues either. Beyonce isn't even the top artist of her generation. Female solo artist Adele has topped her in chart data, music sales and concert revenues. Adele is also a far better singer.

The top female artist of all time is Whitney Houston, not Beyonce. Houston's hits, music sales and touring revenues are far greater than anything Beyonce has done. Houston had all her number ones the real way, not through the massive amounts of illegal payola, chart rigging, hacking and buying teams Beyonce and her husband's mistress, Rihanna, benefited from, in obtaining undeserved number ones, certifications and awards (not to mention, for stolen songs). Soundscan numbers do not support Beyonce or Rihanna as the top artists in anything.

At the height of Whitney Houston's fame in 1992-1993, she had the number one single "I Will Always Love You" for 14-weeks, helmed the top album "The Bodyguard" soundtrack and starred in the top grossing film of the same name, which brought in $411,000,000 at the box office. "The Bodyguard" became the best selling soundtrack of all time, with over 45,000,000 copies sold.

Houston's "The Preacher's Wife" soundtrack became the best selling Gospel album of all time. Houston also had the massive hits with the songs "The Greatest Love Of All" "One Moment In Time" "How Will I Know" "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" and her rendition of "The Star Spangled Banner." The woman exuded music and film excellence wherever she went. Houston's run as a female entertainer is unmatched.

Beyonce nor Rihanna are in Houston's league. Never will be. They lack the talent, class and the level of hit material required. Houston always went on stage looking like a lady. Beyonce and Rihanna dress like prostitutes and have no class going on stage, then vulgarly opening their legs and throwing their crotches at audiences in conduct that looks so tacky. That's not entertainment. It looks so ignorant, low brow and trashy. Then, people wonder why 5-year-olds are twerking and exposing their bodies. There are videos on social networking of little girls twerking in a sexual manner and they are imitating singers like Beyonce, Rihanna and Miley Cyrus.

Not to mention Mariah Carey, Celine Dion and Barbra Streisand are way ahead of Beyonce and Rihanna in every department. Beyonce and Rihanna will not match what those ladies achieved either. Making baseless claims online and paying journalists to hype up Beyonce and Rihanna's career at every turn does not take the place of true accomplishments. These crazy cult stars like Beyonce and Rihanna are of the belief anything they say, no matter how untrue it is, especially in reference to their careers, makes it fact.

Beyonce's career is a big hype machine, full of PR and stolen songs (so is Rihanna's). Beyonce and RIhanna have been sued many, many times for copyright infringement in stealing various artists works. Even Billboard magazine denounced Beyonce's repeated thefts of other artists' copyrights. Houston never had that problem as she wasn't pretending to be a songwriter. Beyonce and Rihanna are not songwriters. They steal other people's work and slap their names on it in what is going to mushroom into a massive legal scandal and fall from grace.

Side Bar: What is with the Beyhive putting a huge number of bee emojis and nasty insults under people's social networking pages for criticizing Beyonce. All they are doing is turning off people from her. Other fanbases are tired of this behavior labeling them crazy for going to such extremes. You are not endearing people to Beyonce or to buy her products. No one is afraid of you. People are tired of the online harassment which constitutes "terms of service" violations on social networking sites.
